The Meltaus Lean-to is in the village centre of Meltaus on the bank of the Ounas River, around 48 km north of Rovaniemi. The log-built lean-to features a campfire site with benches, a separate table and benches, and a woodshed, outhouse and waste bin nearby. There is a boat ramp on the riverside.
